Jeff Olson is a legend in the Direct Selling industry. His name is synonymous with success and personal development. A few years ago, Jeff wrote a book, “The Slight Edge.” He wrote the book to influence people to realize the implications that their daily actions have in their lives when compounded over time. Sounds simple enough but it’s one thing to know something and another to apply it in one’s life. Jeff wanted to give his fans the tools to do just that.
Jeff came to us in 2010 for consulting. His objective was to release his second edition of “The Slight Edge” and capitalize on the growth of social media. We constructed a 3-part campaign for his brand that included:
We started with helping the brand’s image with an influx of interested fans. We then turned to engage them on Facebook and Twitter while at the same time we were completing The Slight Edge Network. Before the network launched we were getting tons of engagement. 15-20 likes on every post and lots of comments. Once we completed the site, we promoted the new network on the Facebook and Twitter pages and drove a lot of traffic to the new community and in a short period of time, the Slight Edge Network attracted nearly a thousand members in it’s first month alone, with tons of new content being posted daily and conversations that continue to this day.
